Happy Halloween!

Friday, October 30 our ward had a Halloween party. As part of the evening the kids went around trick or treating to classroom doors. I dressed up as a private investigator, and instead of decorating the door in black and orange or Halloweeny, I just put some caution tape up, an outline of a body, and asked the kids to help "bag the evidence". The only kid that was really interested in our scene was less than a year old, but it was fun anyway!

Saturday, Justin had a fun Halloween party. He and Diana were so cute with their bare feet dressed as Fred and Wilma Flintstone. It was sad that many of the younger trick-or-treaters had no idea who they were. Heidi had a clown wig, that made it's way around the room. I made a last minute decision to be Alice in Wonderland. I think it turned out pretty cute. Chad's costume brought the good type of tears to my eyes. Very touching that he decided to be a lighthouse jsut for me! Thanks for all those who came to wish me farewell!
