Getting settled

I was doing a fair bit of shopping the first few weeks as would be expected - getting some shelves, a laundry basket, dish soap, Ziploc bags, and other supplies. I seem to be getting pretty settled now.

Mail has been a challenge, and since I have no private mail receptacle here, I have decided to get a PO Box. Please let me know if you need my address.

I do like living alone, but it's an adjustment. I like just having my own messes to deal with, and having the whole fridge to myself. It's "easier" not having to worry about some of the typical roommate issues, like when to talk to someone about cleaning or the noise they are making while you are trying to sleep. But, it's also lonely. For me it's harder to be productive, because no one is watching!

Living on the east coast it was easy to call family and friends later in the evening. Now that I'm in the west, I have to be more careful!
