Triply Blessed

So, I was able to speak in church on my Birthday - January 15 (2012).  Last year (on January 16^th) I spoke in Potomac Ward sacrament meeting.  In 2010 I was living in Arizona and had an opportunity to speak in the Awatukee 1^st ward on January 17.  I could only imagine that there is some lesson I need to learn by having to speak in church three years in a row on my birthday.  

After working on my talk a for a while a few thoughts came to mind.  It's interesting how impressions didn't come right away.  Sometimes Heavenly Father wants to make sure we are prepared and ready to listen.  

In 2007 I lost a lot of emotional strength, and I've been able to build a lot of confidence back up since then.  It's a blessing to reflect on some of the changes in my life in the last three years. 

I consider Devin's parents my in-laws.  The Rogers are definitely family, and I am now blessed to have the Butikofers as part of my family.  I have been triply blessed with a bounty of love. 

I know that the there are many more lessons for me to learn, and I hope that I am humble enough to listen.
