Skating Party

I smile when I look at this picture, because Marissa and Erin are both amazing women, and I have been fortunate to not only share a Birthday month with them, but to also have them as good friends. We have worked together with church responsibilities and have often gotten together to play games or other activities. Both of them are amazingly thoughtful, considerate of others, full of fun ideas, incredibly inclusive, and have deep abiding testimonies of Jesus Christ and His gospel. I am so blessed to know them!



We had fun at the skating rink near my house. I only fell down once - right after I posed for this picture! Check out more pictures at my Picasa site (link). Ok. It's hard to take pictures when you are moving. So, that's my excuse as to why some of the pictures are blurry!



















Marissa went all out and made us each a our own Birthday cake. I love variety, plus it's a great excuse to try a little of everything, right? We had a chocolate strawberry cake, a cream cheese coconut spice cake, a peanut butter cake, and a white cake. I am sad that Shelly wasn't able to join us for the celebration, but we helped her eat her cake anyway! Thanks for all those who made it!
