US Religious Landscape

I found an interesting site on religious demographics.

They have some nice charts to compare characteristics among religions, and the population at large. Of course I was particularly interested in the Mormons.

Although Mormons don't have more PHD's, a larger percentage of their membership has at least some college. Only Hindus have a larger percent of members who are married, but I was still a little surprised at the percentage of members in the category 'living with their partner'! It looks like we have the smallest percentage of never been married. I guess it just doesn't feel that way since I and many of my friends fit in that category. I was not surprised that we are the religion with the largest percentage of "4 or more" children at home. I was somewhat disappointed with our lack of ethnic diversity, but realized that the survey/report was specific to Americans, so I figure that is about right.
