Arizona Excursions

The next few blogs will be about some recent Arizona Excursions. I had Friday off, and wanted to take advantage of the long weekend. It was a lot of fun to see more of the state I have been living in for the last 8 months.

The temperature on the trip during the day ranged from 108 (not bad for this time of year) to 60, as I was driving through a rain storm near Heber, AZ.

As far as wildlife, in addition to the birds and squirrels, I was surprised to see both a crab and some sort of lizard with a bright blue tail.

Camping in Show Low was great. I had a nice walk around the lake in the morning. Private showers was an added bonus.

I love the diversity in this country.
