I love playing board games, and I was fortunate enough to enjoy game nights two weekends in a row.
At Eli's house I was playing the European Ticket to Ride. The rules suggest that the first player be chosen by the person who has been to the most European countries. There were two German players who suggested that probably wouldn't be fair. I laughed as I tried to count how many European countries I have been to. I have lived in England, Germany, Austria, and Turkey, and attend school in Holland. I lived in the Asian part of Turkey, but we did visit the European part. I estimated about a dozen. I had to follow up with my parents. I've been to: United Kingdom, Scotland, Italy, Turkey, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. For some reason I thought I had been to Switzerland, Spain, and Portugal. Nope, just 11 countries. Hopefully I get to add some more soon.
At my house it was so fun having 3 tables of games going. I was so giddy! I am looking forward to hosting regular game nights - first Friday of the month.
