DC Area Mid-Singles Conference

This weekend was the Third Annual Washington D.C. Mid-Singles Conference. Kathy, my college roommate came in town and committed me to go with her. I don't have pictures of kayaking, but it was fun, and good to build some new memories. In addition to kayaking we also fit in some time at the Smithsonian Folklife festival. Now that we have a Cafe Rio in the area, the Utah-based Mexican food chain was a clear choice for catering. It was a great lunch. For the riverboat cruise it was particularly nice that they were able to coincide with the City of Alexandria fireworks. I did feel a little weird being at a singles conference while I'm dating someone, but it was good. And fortunately we didn't get called out by Bishop Larsen! (Phew!)
