The Errand of Angels

The Errand of Angels is a film about a sister missionary who served her mission in Austria. It is being broadcast on BYUTV Thanksgiving Day at 6pm, and Friday, Nov 28 at 9pm. I am so excited to see it! (It didn't make it to theaters out here.) I am so curious to see what other similarities and differences there are from my mission. From the previews it looks like there is some great scenery shots, she did service in the graveyard, had interesting meals at members homes, and other reminiscences of my time in Austria. I have just recently have started to put my mission photos in an albumn. I hope to finish that project and get some labels in this weekend. It's only taken 11 years!

The movie synopsis says:
A wide-eyed sister missionary arrives in Austria to begin her 18-month-long mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Despite having to make a few cultural adjustments, Sister Taylor meets every challenge with optimism. Her enthusiasm to share the Gospel makes her indomitable, until she finds herself with an abrasive companion whom she doesn't understand and doesn't particularly like. This challenge, along with the ordinary vicissitudes of missionary life begin to wear on her, and thus in the process of sharing the Gospel, Sister Taylor finds herself gaining a better understanding of its key precepts: faith, repentance, forgiveness, and charity.
