Merry Christmas

I was in Las Vegas for Christmas again this year, and got to enjoy many of our Christmas traditions, such as caroling, playing games, plenty of food, reading the story of Christ's birth, gifts, and of course family.

As much as I enjoy tradition, change is also good. This year was particularly difficult for Adam and Elizabeth. Although they love Christmas, it's a difficult time as they reached the year anniversary of the death of their son. Josh and Alyssa came in from California, and I was glad to share Christmas morning with at least one other sibling. Cami and Jake enjoyed Christmas morning at their own place, and Cami brought over treats for everyone. Cyndi suggested we take a trip to the Las Vegas temple, which was a nice touch to the holiday. Her family was all excited to see their Aunt Carrie. Mom and Dad are amazing and generous. Even though everyone now has a different immediate family of their own, I am grateful for everyone's patience and understanding in that the reverse is not true! It's great to be loved and I had a great Christmas.
