.. NO, this is not an announcement! (In case anyone was wondering. Which I am sure you weren't..)
I seem to have been around a lot of baby conversations lately. Granted, when we have social get-togethers at church, the conversation turns to childbirth or babies over half the time. Congratulations to some friends that are expecting. My heart goes out to those who struggle to get pregnant. It's particularly exciting for them when they do. It really is a miracle each time someone has a healthy pregnancy and baby. My coworker came into work with her new baby the other day and it was interesting to see who avoided them and who came to ooh and ahh. I love kids. Even though the older I get the more I realize how much work they are, and of course the less likely I am to be able to have some of my own. But no matter what my age, I hope to do my part to support marriage and the family. What a precious resource we have in the youth of today.

I think there is much wisdom in you! Actually one of my friends who I most respected was married but could not have children. She never complained. She admitted it was hard, then she adopted. (I actually suspect it was her husband's problem although she never would say) They have a great family and simply don't look back on what they were not given. Thank you for what you do do to help raise mine. Cyndi
