Laundry list

I got a lot done this weekend.
My vacuum cleaner was clogged. I fixed that. Yea!
I paid a few bills, including a speeding ticket from DC that came in the mail. Boo!
I got a lot of laundry done. Yea!
I burnt some cookies. Boo!

I figured out that my county taxes are higher than everyone else in my row of townhouses and why. We all have 1200 square feet. Somehow Fairfax county thinks my townhouse is larger than the others. Not sure how that would have happened. I've filled an appeal, but I'm not sure what I think about this. Should I be frustrated that I have been paying extra taxes for the last few years or happy that I figured it out and will hopefully be getting it fixed?

There was a speed dating activity Saturday night. I must say that it is NOT my preferred method of meeting people. You get feedback within a few days about which guys did or did not want your contact information. It can be rather deflating. But, I did it, and it wasn't all bad.
