Easter

I love to celebrate holidays, but this Easter was pretty low key. I didn’t have any roommates to get candy or hide eggs for, and it seems silly to do things for yourself. Earlier in the week I was able to go to the Mesa Easter Pageant. It was a touching reminder of the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We also need to do our part to learn about His mission, His teachings, and do our part to bear witness and be prepared. It was a great experience to have so many participants (including a few from my ward!) dedicate so much to share their testimony. Things also worked out to have the missionaries and a new friend over for an Easter lunch. Sunday dinner was celebrated with extended family in the area. Brody didn’t quite get the “find as many eggs as you can” concept, but it was fun to watch him anyway!

Tom was at that pageant with his brother and his family!! I wish I could have gone for many reasons! It sounds like you're really enjoying it out there and being outdoors a lot. It's very exciting to change places, isn't it? Iowa, here we come!
