The Gila Valley Temple Open House

It's over a three hour drive to Thatcher, AZ, but I always love going to temple Open Houses. It's an opportunity for the public to tour a temple before it is dedicated, and there is a spirit of excitement and holiness.

The Gila Valley is one of the smaller temples. It was interesting that it is listed alphabetically under "T", for "The Gila Valley". The Open House continues through May 15. If you are interested in finding out more information about the Open House or reserving a tour, go to:

I had the pleasure of riding down with Devin's family, and playing dolls with some cute little girls in the car. Notice how you can see snow on Mount Graham in the background.
