High School Friends

After being home less then a week, I was off again to visit Colorado!

I moved around a lot growing up. I had lunch with two friends from early high school. Yes, this dates me, but I think this picture is from 1987 or 1988. It's been a LONG time since I've seen Tami. Not quite as long since I've seen Shauna, but still way too long!

Happy Birthday and Congratulations to Tami on recently getting married.

I spent a lot of time with Shauna over the weekend. She was a great hostess, and we had a lot of fun exploring. I got to meet her new boyfriend. I am so happy for her, and hope things continue to go well. It was a little difficult for me emotionally, as I had just called it "friends" with my Arizona Matthew. At the same time, I was just so comforting to reunite with a friend who was still strong in her faith and the gospel. Joy can come in a lot of different ways in our life, and it's great to have a variety and enjoy the different sources and perspectives.
