I had a great evening with Todd's family. It was his father's birthday, so we celebrated both Easter and Birthday together in Crofton, Md. Happy Birthday David Rogers!
It also happens to be my niece April's birthday. Happy 5th Birthday April!
This year I put together an Easter Egg kit (with the help of my mom and brother Josh)! There are 12 scriptures about Jesus: the last week of his life, his death, and resurrection. You put the scripture along with a little object into a plastic egg, and it's a great way to get an object lesson to help remember the true meaning of Easter. It's one of Nicole's family traditions that she was kind enough to share.
Because of Heidi I even decorated Easter Eggs this year - something I haven't for a while, but it is a great Easter tradition. You can see Heidi's blog for some pictures.

We too love the eggs. We had no Easter traditions. Now, thanks to you, we do!
