Down Time

I've been fighting a cold these last few days. Even though I got up this morning at 6:30am and took a shower, I quickly decided that I wouldn't be able to make it into work and function. I read a few sentences and quickly fell back to sleep until 11:30am. I really can't believe I slept so long, but I think that extra sleep really helped. I am still congested and coughing, but I am hoping to make it in to work the rest of the week.

Since I was home I thought I would start on a mountain of laundry. Unfortunately my dryer would not turn on, so I need to get some help figuring out what is wrong there. The washer and dryer were here when I bought the house, but they should only be about 6 yrs old. I have not had any problems with them previously.

I felt like I should get something done today, so I went to mail a few easter packages I had prepared. Well, that didn't even go so well. After I got back into the car I noticed two eggs on the ground. I picked them up, and sure enough, they were numbered and should have been included with the package that I had just mailed. Whoops!

So, I am back at home, with renewed determination to just rest!
